System Operation
When the customer dials a number, the system determines the type of call (local or international) and routes the call through the local telephone company or the VoIP carrier according to the system settings. The automated VoIP dialer performs call through operation, such as to dial the access number to reach the service provider, dial a PIN, and dial the destination number. The clients just dial up the number and wait for the call to go through.
When the system determines that the destination number answers, it starts charging the customer. The operator or the administrator of the system can adjust the rates according to the destination. (International or local). The operator of the system can also see the call cost through the display unit while at the same time the customer can view the charging through a display unit in the telephone booth.
The Everywhere solution calculates the call charge according to the predefine rates and the call duration. After the end of the call the system prints the call details on a receipt.
